Navindo Geosat has launched the Blackberry Applications for real time tracking of vehicle. This enable all of the personal users to use their Blackberry handheld device to track and locate their vehicle. This application is very useful as the need of using PC/computer is now no longer an issue, and being replace by using the Blackberry phone to track/locate the vehicle.


November 12, 2007 - Tele Atlas to Power First Off-Board Navigation Solution in Indonesia

Digital maps and dynamic content provider for navigation and location based solutions, Tele Atlas has announced that Indonesian wireless operator Indosat will launch its new i-gps off-board navigation solution based on its digital maps.

Part of the new i-gps navigation solution, Tele Atlas digital maps will include over 89,000 kilometres of roads in Jabotabek, Surabaya, Semarang, Bandung, Malang, Sidoarjo, Gresik and Bali as well as other major road networks of Java island.

Jabotabek is Indonesia's government and business center and most populated region and it includes Jakarta metropolitan area. Map coverage also includes more than 70,000 points of interest (POIs).

"The i-gps service is the first full-fledged commercial off-board solution launched in Southeast Asia, a region with tremendous potential in the wireless space," said Mark Steele, Chief Operating Officer of Tele Atlas Asia Pacific.

"This is a great opportunity for us to deliver an advanced navigation solution to the Asia Pacific region with a leading-edge wireless operator."


June 25, 2007 - Singapore - Tele Atlas (FSE: TA6, EUNV: TA), a leading global provider of digital maps and dynamic content for navigation and location based solutions, announced today it has signed an agreement with BAKOSURTANAL, the government institution responsible for creating and maintaining large scale geographical maps in Indonesia.

Tele Atlas plans to incorporate BAKOSURTANAL's digital maps within its existing Indonesian database by September 2007. The Indonesian map is part of a virtually seamless Southeast Asia map solution from Tele Atlas that includes extensive coverage of Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.

BAKOSURTANAL is the only institution designated to deliver government-approved maps of the area. The company's maps feature 1:25,000 scale topographic data for the full Java and Bali areas and will enhance Tele Atlas' digital map with more detailed navigable street network and extensive point of interest (POI) content for all major cities in Indonesia.

"Tele Atlas is the first company to receive a license for topographical maps from BAKOSURTANAL, whose content will further enrich navigation and location based solutions as the regional market for these products and services continues to expand," said Tele Atlas Asia Pacific Chief Operating Officer Mark Steele. September 7, 2006 s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands, - Tele Atlas NV, a leading global provider of geographic content, today announced the opening of its Indonesian joint venture, PT Tele Atlas Indonesia. Formed as a business partnership between Tele Atlas and Indonesian map solutions provider PT Navindo Technologies, the new company will focus on delivering a highly accurate digital map database of Indonesia and on in-country marketing and sales activities.

The fourth most populated country in the world, Indonesia is experiencing substantial economic growth. Tele Atlas Asia Pacific Chief Operating Officer Mark Steele said the country is expected to be an active market for mobile local search and navigation solutions. "Navindo is the most advanced mapping company in Indonesia, and this joint venture puts us in the best position to quickly deliver the quality geographic content our partners and customers will demand. It is an important move in our strategy to lead the digital map market in Southeast Asia."

PT Tele Atlas Indonesia will initially focus on enhancing its map database of core population centers, including Jakarta, Bandung and Surabaya, and is expected to deliver map products starting in early 2007. The joint venture will initially employ 20 people in an office located in central Jakarta.
